As a member of the Australian Cyber Security Co-operative Research Centre, Paul often attends meetings to help shape Australia's cyber security strategy.

He can be seen in his local community and interstate as an active firefighter when not found behind a computer. Paul received two national medals in his 10+ years of service and firefighting achievements.
